    Mensline Australia: National telephone counselling, information and referral service for men with family and relationship concerns. It is available 24/7 from anywhere in the country for the cost of a local call. It is staff by paid professional counsellors experienced in working with men. It provides a range of men-specific services including crisis counselling and short term support.

  • Suicide PreventionSuicide Prevention
    Suicide Helpline: Victoria based telephone counselling and referral service for those with suicide concerns. It operates 24/7 and provides crisis intervention; information for people concerned suicide risk in others; support for those bereaved and referrals to other support services


  • Lifeline
    LifelineLifeline offers access to a national 24-hour telephone counseling service – 13 11 14, which provides emotional support to everyday Australians in their time of need. This service is staffed by trained volunteers, who are available to answer calls from anywhere in Australia, at anytime. ORYGEN is a unique organisation made up of a this specialist youth mental health service, a research centre and a range of education, advocacy and health promotion activities. The overall goal of ORYGEN is to integrate knowledge gained from clinical practice and research activities to implement, and advocate for, high quality mental health services for young people.

    PANDAPANDA (Post and Antenatal Depression Association) is a Victorian statewide organization providing telephone support, information and referral services for women and their families affected by antenatal and postnatal depression and anxiety to improve outcomes for new parents, their children and families. PANDA also provides fact sheets, newsletters, website, community education and development, public speakers and professional development.
